Last week we attended the Pandora Reflexions launch event.
The iconic brand launched its latest range to the who’s who of Johannesburg. The Pandora Reflexions range is all about self-expression and urging every wearer to let the world know who they are instead of trying to blend in.
The new collection is a new dawn for the popular jewellery brand, with a distinct millennial influence. I’ve always been a fan, but now I’m obsessed. You now have the choice between the Pandora original design or its new flat mesh-woven bands. These come in the Pandora signature three metals – gold plated, rose and sterling silver – and have special flat charms. I LOVE IT!
We were ushered into four rooms showcasing the new designs, including their new Christmas collection. None of us were allowed to take pictures in the latter room because the collection will only be available as of November. It’s gorgeous with a couple of adorably quirky pieces. I want it all!
It seems that Pandora Reflexions have also a much more robust marketing campaign to spread the word with celebs and big bloggers worldwide sporting their brands.
We were hosted at the beautiful Munro Boutique Hotel. Grand and with many Instagramable backgrounds, we were greeted by an extravagant albeit brave violinist. She was standing on the edge of the swimming pool and was part of the red carpet. I was terrified that someone would snag on the red carpet and pull her into the pool. Thank goodness that it didn’t happen.
The lovely Thembisa Mdoda was our MC for the evening and made everyone feel at home.
I was also reunited with some old friends, which is always a bonus at events.
