Recipe: Nestlé granadilla and lime fridge tart

I made a delicious Nestlé granadilla and lime fridge tart at the weekend. Perfect for indulging on the warmer days.

With the weather turning and spring, basically summer, already upon us, there’s nothing better than enjoying a cold dessert. Nestlé’s granadilla and lime fridge tart is easy to make and leaves you wanting more, even though you’re on the brink of a sugar coma. Life is too short to not eat the dessert!



  • 3/4 cup of ginger biscuits, roughly crushed
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted



  • 1 packet of granadilla jelly
  • 250ml boiling watwe
  • 1/2 can of Nestlé condensed mil
  • 1 can of Nestlé Ideal medium-fat evaporated milk, chilled
  • 250g cream cheese
  • 80ml granadilla pulp, strained (buy a packet from Woolies if you don’t have the luxury of fresh granadillas)
  • 2 limes, juice and finely grated zest
  • To serve
  • Whipped cream
  • Lime zest


Nestle condensed milk


  • Mix the crushed biscuits and butter together and arrange in the bottom of individual serving pots
  • Mix the jelly granules and boiling water until dissolved and set aside
  • Mix Nestlé condensed milk, Ideal Milk and cream cheese together until smooth. Add in the jelly mixture, granadilla, lime juice and zest
  • Spoon the mixture into the serving pots and chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour
  • Before serving, top with whipped cream and lime zest (optional)
